So, I love chocolates and anything or anyone who smells like one. A few months back a friend of mine gave me a box and told me that inside it were some bars of soap. Now this made me furious. Why would anyone give someone soap unless they think that the person cannot afford to buy one from the local supermarket because of which his/her personal hygiene has been compromised. But then I opened the tiny box it came in and was immediately compelled to dig my teeth into a divine bar of soap. It was the ‘Chocolate Crème Silk’ soap by ‘Gia Bath And Body Works’. Ladies and Gentlemen, GAYATRI BROWN made me eat soap!!
Gayatri Brown is professionally a makeup artist, celebrity stylist, cosmetic formulator and a gourmet artisan soap maker. Fancy eh?! She is personally an amazing person and a mother of an equally amazing little girl named Georgia, who was the inspiration behind the brand name ‘GIA BATH AND BODY WORKS’.
Disturbed by the amount of chemicals that the skin care products in the market contained, Gayatri decided to launch her brand of skin care products that were untouched by any harmful chemicals. Handcrafted with love, her products contain no SLS, SLES, hardeners or preservatives, but are instead packed with liquid silk, fresh cream, sweet almond, cocoa, jojoba, avocado, shea butter, virgin olive oil and other such delicious ingredients.
Since Gayatri specializes in Gourmet Artisan bath and body products, where her soaps resemble a pastry, a cake slice or even a cupcake, I won’t blame you if you actually lick it or eat it. They smell irresistibly good, feel good, taste good and are suitable for all kinds of skin type. She also makes shower gels, body butter, perfumes, body mist and body polishing scrubs, all of which are made in a smoke free, pet free and a germ free environment that is her home kitchen. How cool is that?!
Now I have a problem. If I really like something, I keep recommending it to others till they actually try it out and eventually fall in love with it. Since I am addicted to this particular brand, I have been off late recommending it to almost everyone who I believe takes a bath. Gayatri stepped in and decided to help me by generously agreeing for a Giveaway.

ReplyDeleteAs far as 2014 is concerned, it was pretty fabulous is so many ways. I finally can call myself a Post Graduate (phew...I'm so relieved...now I really need a job :P ) , travelled to some cool places ...met some blogger friends who were just virtual friends for the longest time (best thing to have happened...someday, I hope I get to see you too :D), made a lot of new friends, let go of ties that were meaningless, everybody was healthy (touch wood)...so yeah pretty great so far...I would rate it a 5, one of the best years I've had so far. How was yours?
Wow! I so love the soaps. Keeping my fingers crossed. My 2014 was a mixed bag but definitely a year I loved. I would rate it 4 on 5. Hope you have a great one too in 2015.

ReplyDeleteAbout my year.. 2014 was not the best year of my life. Had minor ups and major downs. It started good with my graduation and meeting one of my favorite kollywood stars but later was a nightmare for me. I was sick for past 3 months. Taking medicines and injections was a horror for me. But it only made me stronger and confident. Blessed to have my family and friend's strong support and love for me. I feel I have really grown as a person in so many ways. I'd rate it 3/5. Thanks for asking I'm very excited to welcome the new year with big smile. Wishing you a fabulous year ahead. Keep Rocking. Love Shankari. :)

I was able to blog regularly, stick to my resolutions and I won so many contests. The year was very lucky for me. I got connected to some fab co bloggers, brands and made many new friends. I completed one year in State Bank of India and my new job posting is too good. I rate my year 2014 a 4.5/5

No wonder these delicious looking treats from Gia, Bath & Body Works that truthfully look and smell edible. I am happy that 2014 went well for me personally, however, there were many unfortunate incidents around the world that had really given a blow to this personal happiness. ReplyDeleteHi Dear,
ReplyDeleteAmazing giveaway and I love to see me as one of the participants. Yeeeaah.
Answer of the question : About the year 2014
Standing in the month of December 2014 and looking at all back months, I can see the moments which cherished my life and now been the remembrance of 2014. Some of the moments were:-
January filled with love because of my marriage anniversary. My hubby gifted me a ring on my anniversary with big bunch of roses.
March brings a big happiness in our life, because my hubby got appointed in Sapient. A huge exposure for him and a big push up in his career.
July - August: A support has a power to make you something, my hubby supported me and I got admission in B.Ed. so that I can make career in teaching.
My son got award as a Best Stage Performer and won Maths quiz competition.
In all these happy moments two bad news made 2014 memorable, a thief had stolen our brand new phones, cash and wallet. This monetary loss really hurt us because we saved some money for these gadgets. And FIR did nothing for this loss.
I will rate it 35. out of 5 to 2014. And hope for the best in 2015.
With love Bhawna
Will they make me look beautiful :)
